We encourage all members to become engaged in their association through committee participation.   One of the most valued volunteer positions is that of a committee member.  If it’s time for you to step up into a volunteer role, please consider one (or more) of these committees:

Public Relations Committee

REALTORS® not only work in their communities — they live and play there too! The Public Relations Committee is all about enhancing the REALTORS® relations with the community. They strive to maintain a positive and professional image of the Association by getting out into the community to help with volunteering and fundraising. This committee meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 10 am at the CBR Office and is open to all REALTOR®, Affiliate, and Affiliate Companion members.

Public Policy Committee

If Politics is your passion, the Public Policy Committee is for you.  The Public Policy committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11 am.  REALTORS®, Affiliates, and Affiliate Companion members are welcome to join at any time of the year.  Their mission is to monitor local, state, and federal government activities as they influence and affect the rights of private property owners and the interests of the real estate industry.  They also fundraise for the REALTORS Political Action Committee, and interview candidates for local and state political office.  If you’re in real estate, politics better be your business — and getting involved in the Public Policy Committee is one way to ensure you stay informed!
